Penglai 19-3 Oilfield, as the largest offshore integrated oilfield in China, is located in the Bohai Sea in the northern part of the Shandong Peninsula, 48 nautical miles from Longkou City. It is the largest offshore integrated oilfield in China, with proven geological reserves of approximately 1 billion tons, recoverable reserves of approximately 600 million tons, and an annual output of approximately 8.4 million tons (accounting for 1/5 of the Bohai Sea’s crude oil production）.

The project’s equipment, including closed discharge tanks and scrubbing tanks manufactured by Tianmiao Chemical, has broken foreign technological monopolies, achieving “self-reliance and control” in critical energy equipment. It reduces dependence on imports, lowers procurement and maintenance costs, and enhances supply chain security. Real-time monitoring optimizes production parameters, boosting recovery rates and extending equipment lifespan. The system ensures safe and environmentally friendly operations, significantly improving marine pollution early warning capabilities and safeguarding ecological security.

The Penglai 19-3 oilfield equipment system represents the highest level of China’s offshore oil development. Multiple domestic equipment have achieved a transformation from “introduction dependence” to “self-reliance and controllability”, not only improving the efficiency and safety of oilfield development, but also providing valuable experience for the development of China’s offshore energy equipment manufacturing industry.
