The Enping 24-2 Integrated Adjustment and Development Project is a key oilfield adjustment initiative by CNOOC in the Pearl River Estuary Basin of the South China Sea. Tianmiao Company’s direct involvement in this project includes the newly installed production separator on the EP24-2 platform.
Offshore oil fields (such as Enping 24-2) demand equipment with “miniaturization, high efficiency, operational durability, and low maintenance.” The production separator addresses these challenges through targeted technical design, offering the following advantages: 1. High-efficiency separation: Compatible with complex conditions in mature oil fields characterized by “high water content and multiple impurities” 2. Compact design: Optimized for offshore platforms with “limited space” 3. Corrosion resistance and fluctuation tolerance: Adapted to marine environments with “high salinity, high humidity, and variable operating conditions” 4. Low energy consumption and intelligent operation: Meets requirements for “energy conservation, cost reduction, and remote maintenance.”
The ENP 24-2 project focuses on enhancing efficiency in aging oil fields. Its production separator achieves energy savings through technological optimization and integrates with the platform’s smart upgrade for low-energy operation. The system also features intelligent monitoring, early warning, and self-diagnosis of faults.
Enping 24-2 Integrated Development Project has achieved “reverse growth” in the old oilfield through technological innovation and equipment upgrades, setting a benchmark for stable production enhancement in the eastern South China Sea oilfield cluster. The project’s multiple technological innovations not only improved oil recovery rates but also provided valuable experience for tapping potential in China’s offshore old oilfields, playing a crucial role in safeguarding national energy security.
