Tianmiao buffer tanks are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. Each unit consists of a shell, elliptical heads, saddle supports or legs, nozzles, manholes, and safety accessories, offering exceptional structural rigidity and reliable pressure-bearing capabilities. Available materials include Q345R carbon steel, 304/316L stainless steel, titanium, and duplex stainless steel. Carbon steel interiors can be lined with rubber or PTFE (Teflon), or treated with anti-corrosion coatings; stainless steel interiors can undergo electrolytic polishing to prevent residue accumulation. The tanks feature a volume range of 0.1 to 100 m³, a design pressure range of 0.6 to 16 MPa, and a design temperature range of -20°C to 450°C. Tank dimensions, nozzle orientations, and interface specifications can all be fully customized to meet specific operational requirements.
Our manufacturing process utilizes CNC machining for precision plate cutting and rolling. Welds are executed using a combination of TIG welding for root passes and submerged arc welding for cover passes, strictly adhering to rigorous welding procedure specifications. All pressure-bearing welds undergo 100% non-destructive testing (RT/UT) to ensure zero defects. Internal components—such as buffer baffles, foam-breaking screens, and flow-guiding structures—can be installed to effectively stabilize flow, dampen vibrations, and mitigate water hammer effects. Flange interfaces are precision-machined to ensure compatibility with both Chinese (GB) and American (ASME) standards, guaranteeing a leak-free, long-term seal. This equipment integrates four key functions—pressure stabilization, energy storage, vibration damping, and gas-liquid separation—making it widely applicable across diverse sectors such as petrochemicals, power generation, HVAC, pharmaceuticals, food processing, metallurgy, building materials, environmental protection, and district heating. It effectively achieves pipeline network pressure stabilization, eliminates water hammer, buffers material flow, and balances system loads.
The product supports comprehensive, fully customized non-standard configurations. Optional features include thermal insulation jackets, liquid level and pressure instrumentation, safety valves, drain valves, and remote monitoring interfaces. External surfaces can be treated with anti-corrosion coatings and thermal insulation cladding; support structures are available in fixed or sliding configurations to effectively absorb thermal expansion displacements, thereby safeguarding both the equipment and the pipeline network.
Tianmiao holds the Class A2 Pressure Vessel Manufacturing License and strictly adheres to GB 150, TSG 21, and HG/T 20584 standards. Primary materials are sourced exclusively from major, reputable steel mills and undergo rigorous incoming inspection, including spectral analysis and mechanical property spot-checks. Upon completion, every unit undergoes a hydrostatic test at 1.5 times its design pressure to verify pressure retention and leak-tightness; units intended for flammable or toxic media undergo additional pneumatic leak testing. Each unit is delivered with a Certificate of Conformity, Quality Certificate, As-Built Drawings, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) reports, and pressure test records, ensuring full quality traceability throughout the entire process.
Regarding operation and maintenance, the equipment comes standard with a maintenance manhole. Internal buffering and flow-guiding components are designed to be detachable and replaceable without requiring the complete disassembly of the vessel, thereby minimizing downtime and reducing maintenance costs.
